Tina Williams, leading UK partnership and M&A lawyer joins McCarthy Denning

Next generation City law firm McCarthy Denning announces the appointment of Tina Williams as a Partner in the firm’s corporate group. Tina joins from Fox Williams, where she was a founding partner and is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading lights on partnership law.

During her time at Fox Williams, Tina built one of the UK’s leading partnerships law practices. She advised on some of the most significant domestic and international law firm and other partnership mergers.

Tina advises professional practices and individual partners on all aspects of partnership law. This includes mergers and other types of combinations and affiliations, structuring, regulation, remuneration and other management issues, partner and team moves, and dissolution of partnerships. She frequently works on international transactions and has represented many US law firms that have established a UK and EU presence. She also advises individual partners on issues such as exits, discrimination and bullying claims. Tina is also a hugely experienced corporate lawyer, specialising in M&A.

Tina brings a new dimension to further develop McCarthy Denning’s outstanding corporate group, which comprises numerous highly experienced practitioners from the Magic Circle and other top tier law firms. She will now help to build the firm’s profile in partnership law and related M&A matters.
