McCarthy Denning Advises N+1 Singer on placing by way of accelerated bookbuild for AIM-listed MobileStreams plc

McCarthy Denning is delighted to have completed its first matter for new client, leading corporate finance and broking house, N+1 Singer.  We advised the firm on a placing by way of accelerated book build aimed at raising approximately £2.2m for fast-growing mobile content seller, Mobile Streams PLC.  The placing, which included an innovate structure in order to enable retail investors to participate through Primarybid.com, is partly conditional on shareholder approval at its AGM on 19 December.

N+ 1 Singer is one of the UK’s leading corporate advisory & institutional broking firms and is majority employee-owned and independent.

Founded in 2006, N+1 Singer descends from Singer & Friedlander, originally a City of London merchant bank established in 1907.

The McCarthy Denning team was led by Abigail Marsden with help from June Paddock and Richard Beresford.  Richard Beresford commented “it’s always nice to get instructions from new clients, but particularly so in this case as I used to act for the old Singer & Friedlander way back in the last century!  I am also a big proponent of crowd funding into public companies so it was great to be able to work with Primary Bid on this issue”.
