Louise is a very experienced solicitor with over 25 years practice both as General Counsel in listed businesses and in private practice. In 2017 Louise studied for and obtained the CIPP/E accreditation and now specialises in all aspects of data protection advising UK and international businesses of all sizes and sectors. Louise has taken many businesses through the whole compliance cycle and is a nominated DPO for many. She works proactively to pre-empt security breaches and to maximise the positive differentiation and competitive advantages that compliance with GDPR can bring. She brings passion and creativity to bear on all aspects of the GDPR.

Louise first qualified into the corporate department of Lovell White and King (now Hogan Lovells) but was invited in-house to join the European team of Cable and Wireless. In a very rich and diverse 12 years there, Louise lived and worked in Brussels, Hong Kong and California, building expertise in corporate, commercial, tech, e-commerce and SaaS areas.
Louise also volunteers her time as a trustee of a charity which is very active in the rehabilitation of offenders and reduction of reoffending as well as participating in Stand Out as a volunteer interviewer, readying offenders to return to a life of work.

- creation from scratch of the contract by which impact-resistant material was introduced, by law, into all American football helmets to reduce chances of brain injury
