Begüm Naz Berk is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from King’s College London, The Dickson Poon School of Law.
Begüm has interned at prestigious firms such as Baker McKenzie’s Istanbul office, where she focused on M&A and Banking & Finance law. She contributed to internal guidelines on follow-on offerings and researched Turkish blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations. At Herguner Bilgen Ucer Attorney Partnership in Istanbul, she researched power plant development and green bond registration.
During her part-time internship at McCarthy Denning, Begüm has contributed to the Energy team, aiding in the integration of Turkish companies into the UK market and drafting contracts for renewable energy projects. Her early experiences with Vodafone Group and Tetra Pak provided her with a foundation in telecommunications law, commercial law, and corporate legal practices.
Fluent in Turkish and English, with proficiency in French, Begum brings a multicultural and multilingual perspective to her role.
