Andrew Carpenter is a renowned corporate lawyer with extensive experience in both cross border and domestic private company M&A for corporates, private equity investors and UHNW individuals. In addition, Andrew’s work includes advising on funds (for investors), transactional risk underwriting (W&I insurance) for underwriters and some public company matters (IPOs / P2Ps / City Code).
Andrew also holds the position of General Counsel to Future Planet Capital which is an early-stage tech investor managing several funds.
Andrew set up and managed offices in Dubai, Doha, Muscat, Hong Kong and Singapore for Addleshaw Goddard as well as managing their wider international referral network and prior to that was part of the core team that relaunched O’Melveny and Myers London office. Most recently Andrew has been a partner in the London office of DWF where he also managed their associated law firm network.
Andrew’s experience includes financial services, healthcare, tech, sport (F1 / football), mining, industrial services and manufacturing, real estate (indirect investment), professional services, leisure and travel.
Andrew has extensive experience of working with Tier 1 lawyers in North America, Europe, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, the GCC, South East Asia, China, Japan and Korea.
