Marilyn is a law graduate of Durham University and was admitted as a member of the New York State Bar in 1993 and as a solicitor in 1996. She trained at Covington & Burling, and subsequently joined Brobeck Hale and Dorr in 1996 (now WilmerHale), where she has practised for the majority of her career. Marilyn has several years of experience as an employment law specialist, covering both contentious and non-contentions matters.
Marilyn’s work includes all matters around the appointment and dismissal of employees and senior executives, including: negotiating and drafting appointment letters; service and employment agreements; consultancy agreements; employment policies and handbooks; negotiating and drafting settlement agreements; redundancy and termination advice and assistance; drafting and advising on non-compete clauses and confidentiality restrictions, as well as providing employment-related input on transactional matters, including changing terms of employment and TUPE advice.
