Clive’s practice incorporates all areas of intellectual property; such as patents, copyright, trademarks, privacy and data law. Over his career he has gained a wide international experience, particularly in the Far East, and is admitted to practice in both Hong Kong and Australia. Clive is a firm believer in the value of arbitration for determining IP disputes and has been appointed to sit as an arbitrator by inter alia, ICC, WIPO and in specialist panels.
Clive has acted for parties in numerous IT disputes relating to the ownership, exploitation and infringement of information technology particularly in the defence, publishing, medical, retail and computer sectors as well as breach of privacy and data rights.
He is on the board of the London Computer Law Group and was Vice-Chairman Disputes of the IBA Technology Committee.
